An Introduction to a Story

I was supposed to write a story, but my creative juices weren't flowing. So I ended up writing a lame introduction to one. Feel free to use it, if you find introductions to be good creative prompts.

A young boy went out for a walk in the woods.
He was an adventurous one!
Always looking for new things to see and do.
One day, he encountered a large stone.
He looked at it from all sides.
It seemed to be a fairly normal stone.
It was only remarkable in its size.
Given this, he decided that it might be fun to climb it.
He would be able to see a large amount of the woods from atop it!
So he looked for a way up.
It was a fairly round stone, so he couldn't climb it straight up.
He would need to use some other means of ascension.
He looked around.
He finally decided that he would use a tree next to it to make his climb.
So he did.
And he reached the top!
And he didn't really find anything there.
But from this vantage point, he could, indeed, see a large amount of the forest.
He looked, and he saw…
